Cloud Computing has made in-roads in nearly every industry across the globe. This is perhaps one of the major reasons why the growth of Cloud Computing industry is showing no signs of slowing down in the near future.

Some of our valuable readers might feel surprised that Cloud Computing solutions have also proved of tremendous value for the global broadcast industry. Like many other industries out there, the media and broadcast industry also took its share of shock.

Entire channels were easily managed by the technical personnel of broadcasters, all from the safety and comfort of their homes by leveraging cloud computing solutions. The Cloud also played a key role in maximizing revenue for the broadcasters.

The broadcasters within the industry that had adopted the Cloud were able to deliver content across the full spectrum of channels, whether its live, on-demand or linear. The Cloud also enabled broadcasters to stream their content across multiple end-points.

This in turn greatly enhanced the overall outreach of the content. From a broadcaster’s standpoint, what this meant was a much wider, and diverse target audience. This in turn proved a great way for broadcasters to boost their revenues from advertising.

As the broadcast industry adopts rapid digitalization via the Cloud, we expect there is still a lot of room for further growth and value generation. The pandemic has acted mainly as a catalyst for the broadcaster’s industry to adopt Cloud Computing at scale.
